‘You’re Just a Nigger’ presents a shocking exposé of racism and corruption in Quebec’s civil court system.  Although Canada’s Black Justice Strategy published by the Department of Justice Canada chose to focus on anti-black racism in the criminal justice system, Raymond Samuels shows us that discrimination in civil court systems which relate to the ability of law-abiding citizens of many cultures, religions and races to access justice, is far worse.

Through this book, Raymond Samuels reveals that the true goal of the elites who preside over Quebec’s justice system, who also share an affinity with Quebec’s independence movement, is not the protection of the French language but the creation of an oppressive society.  The goal of such an oppressive society manifests before us, and in plain sight, through their fleur-de-lis nationalist symbol.  This is in fact the emblem of the highly racist and authoritarian Bourbon “Chateau Clique” whose reign in France eventually led to a bloody revolution.

The Bourbons in Quebec pursue ongoing and invasive quiet warfare against the French Canadian spirit.  This spirit that chose to migrate to Canada to flee the Bourbons in the Old World, chose the maple leaf as our national symbol in 1834 through the Saint Jean Baptiste Society.  The Maple Leaf as a native symbol in the land they called Canada, expressed a multicultural spirit which they sought to embrace of equality, liberty, and fraternity in this New World, where maple leaf trees were abundant.

Raymond Samuels’ through his journey in the Quebec court system illuminates a dichotomy between the laws of Quebec grounded in “Canadianism” which values individual rights and diversity like no other in Canada versus a predatory Bourbon identity which boldly ignores those laws and perverts justice under a complicit Government of Canada regime.

Raymond Samuels has been a member of the University of Toronto community, the Canadian Bar Association and had been invited by the National Assembly to make a presentation of the proposed Quebec Constitutional Act, 2025 back in February 2026.  He has also taught human rights, constitutional and business law.
